A thoroughly modern Kilim, full of gay and bright colours in dynamic bands that give an impression of the melodious tune the girl seems to be playing on her instrument. Here Master Arabzadeh is at the height of his freedom as a designer. The weaver was a prison inmate, who benefitted from the term of his incarceration to become a skilful craftsman.
