Dance of the wine

An intricate rug that brings together the arts of the miniature painter and the  ceramicist. the designer has once again been inspired by Khayyam and other  classical persian poets who have extolled the merits of the eternal drink. The  multitudes worked into the borders are either drinking or holding candles and other sources of light. the girl in the centre embodies the ideals of grace  harmony and beauty.
