This rug which was not designed to hung on a wall but to cover the front of an upright cushion carries a mystical message: let us drink from the eternal wine of the  union that will reunite us with the beloved.

The treatment of the design on the other hand, is thoroughly modern and shows  Master Arabzadeh at the peak of his daredevilry.
