Ceramic Design Carpet

Created by Rasam Arabzadeh

The source of  inspiration for the design of this rug has been a ceramic panel in the old congregational mosque ( Masjed – e Jame’ ) in Isfahan. The undulating  lines of the floral scrolls twist and turn to create a flowing and at the same time  rhythmical effect.

The colour scheme enhances this rhythimic movement.
